한잠 1851
한잠1851은 30년간 물 매트리스를 연구해온 이창희 대표와 함께한 리브랜딩 프로젝트입니다. '더 깊은 잠'이라는 의미의 순우리말 한잠과, 물 매트리스의 기원을 상징하는 1851을 조합해 브랜드명을 새롭게 정의했습니다. 제품에 대한 진정성과 기술력은 뛰어나지만 올드한 이미지와 마케팅 한계를 지닌 기존 브랜드(이지슬립)를, 한국적인 미학과 미니멀한 감각으로 재정비한 작업입니다.
HANZAM 1851 is a rebranding project in collaboration with Mr. Changhee Lee, who has dedicated over 30 years to the development of water mattresses. The new name combines Hanzam—a native Korean word meaning “deep sleep”—with 1851, the symbolic year when water mattresses were first introduced. While the original brand, Easy Sleep, was built on sincerity and solid technical expertise, it struggled with an outdated image and limited marketing presence. This rebranding redefines the brand with a minimalist sensibility and a distinctly Korean aesthetic.
