KOUM

굼은 아람어로 ‘일어나라’라는 뜻을 지니며, 마가복음 5장 41절에서 예수님의 말씀으로 죽은 자가 살아난 장면에서 비롯되었습니다. 이는 말씀을 통해 우리의 삶이 회복되길 바란다는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 굼은 성경 구절을 담은 머그컵을 시작으로 약 15년 이상 이어져 온 브랜드로, 2024년 프로젝트룸이 리브랜딩을 통해 새로운 방향과 가치를 담아 운영하고 있습니다.
KOUM (pronounced [koom]) derives from the Aramaic word meaning “arise,” taken from Mark 5:41 where Jesus’ words brought the dead to life. It carries the hope that our lives may also be restored through the Word. Beginning with mugs inscribed with scripture and sustained for more than 15 years, KOUM is now entering a new chapter in 2024 through rebranding by P/R, embracing fresh direction and values.
